Employee Profile: John “Harvey” Weathermon
MAINTENANCE/FOOD SERVICE

Harvey, as everyone knows him, works through the Maintenance Department, but is part of the Food Service Department.  Harvey is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all food service equipment except HVAC/Refrigeration.  Harvey singled handedly takes care of thirty-four lunchroom and has managed as many at thirty-eight.

Harvey has 29 years with Bay District Schools and has been in Food Service for 21 of those years.  Prior to his time with FS he worked as a roofer and plumber. He has a wonderful attitude and never complains about being stretched from school to school to light a pilot light, repair a dish machine, fix a steamer, and all other aspects of a school kitchen.  He is highly respected and adored by all of the Food Service Managers, Assistants, and Administrators.

His wife, Faye, who works in the lunchroom at Lynn Haven Elementary, says his primary hobby is fishing.  He also plays the saxophone in the choir at Emerald Coast Fellowship.  He has a daughter Cassidy who lives in Mobile. 

Harvey is most definitely deserves to the Employee of the Month for February!
