Congratulations to our most recent grant winners!

 

Morgan Sansubury, Bay High School, was recently awarded a STEM grant from the Armed Services Communications and Electronics Association! Morgan won $1000, which she plans to use to buy classroom responders for her Math classes. Way to go Morgan!

 

The Florida Department of Education's Food and Nutrition Management Section has awarded Oakland Terrace a grant for $17,350! These funds will be used to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables for their students during the 2012-2013 school year!

Way to go!

 

Aishia McQueen, Rutherford High School, granted $1,500 for Rams HEARTS (Helping Every Achiever Read to Succeed)

 

Toni Luciow, Hiland Park Elementary School, granted $1,500 for after school tutoring for at-risk readers

 

Michelle Adams, New Horizons Learning Center, granted $2,000 for the purchase of book sets, audio books, movies, lesson plans and supplies for the Reading Department

 

Roxanne Register, Deer Point Elementary School, granted $2,000 for Take-Home Libraries for primary grades students. She also received a $2,000 grant from Target for the same purpose.
