Title I – NCLB Supplemental Educational Services Minimize

Title I schools receive federal Title I funds to assist students in meeting state achievement standards.  When a subgroup or subgroups of students in these schools do not meet the state standards for 3 years, eligible students are offered Supplemental Educational Services from a provider with a demonstrated record of effectiveness that is selected by the parents and approved for that purpose by the State.

School Year 2011-2012
Of the 6912 students eligible for participation in the NCLB Supplemental Education Services for the 2011-2012 school year, 1499 students participated.

 School Year 2010-2011
Of the 2,415 students eligible for participation in the NCLB Supplemental Education Services for the 2010-2011 school year, 992 students participated.

 School Year 2009-2010
Of the 1,993 students eligible for participation in the NCLB Supplemental Education Services for the 2009-2010 school year, 993 students participated.

 School Year 2008 – 2009
Of the 2,187 students eligible for participation in NCLB Supplemental Educational Services for the 2008-2009 school year, 993 students participated.

School Year 2007 – 2008
Of the 2,106 students eligible for participation in NCLB Supplemental Educational Services for the 2007-2008 school year, 939 students participated.
