Families who have applied for Bay District Schools’ School Choice program for the 2026–2027 school year are now entering the next important phase of the process. The BDS Choice Department is currently reviewing all applications, and families are asked to be patient as placements are carefully considered.

The official School Choice acceptance window will run from April 16 through April 23. During this time, families whose students are offered a seat must log into the Parent Portal and click the green “ACCEPT” button to secure their placement. It is important to act within this window—offers not accepted by April 23 will be forfeited, and the student will not be placed at the selected school of choice.
