Bay District Schools is proud to announce that Brooke Loyed, principal of Patronis Elementary School, has been named Florida’s 2025–2026 Principal of the Year. This prestigious statewide recognition honors outstanding school leaders who demonstrate a commitment to student success, academic excellence, and a positive school culture—and it speaks volumes about the leadership happening right here in Bay County.
Under Mrs. Loyed’s leadership, Patronis Elementary has become a shining example of what’s possible when high expectations are paired with genuine care for students, staff, and families. She leads with purpose and heart, always keeping students at the center of every decision.
